Five years ago, we didn’t know how to quilt either.
The Machine Quilting Workshop for Beginners is specially designed for those who have absolutely no quilting experience whatsoever. Only basic knowledge of your sewing machine’s functions and maintenance is required (i.e. control settings, needles, thread, accessories, etc.). Two Accordions will provide cotton solids, batting, cutting mats, rulers, pins, ironing stations, and even coffee and snacks! You only need to bring your clean, working sewing machine (with proper quilting needles—do some research!) and one yard of 44-inch wide prewashed 100% cotton muslin (if you’re not familiar with your local fabric retailers—this is a good excuse to pay a visit). The course is bit of a marathon, so we’ve decided to use one of our easiest designs and give you a choice of color palettes. Walking and ¼ in. foots are a plus, but not required.
Space is limited. Email now to sign up!
A materials list will be provided upon sign-up or inquiry.
